“I pause today to commend your staff on responding quickly to a request for service on my heat pump. I called Glenn Williams of Williams Construction Company about the problem on Friday, February 5, 2010 soon after lunch. I informed him that a sheet of ice had formed completely around the sides of the unit. Realizing the seriousness of the problem, Glen informed me to call Billy directly and gave me his phone number. After sharing the problem with Billy, he asked me to schedule an appointment with Tammy. Within the hour, she had a technician at my house. After the technician diagnosed the problem, he quoted me the cost of the repair and called Tammy regarding the warranty on the heating and air unit. After some discussion with Tammy, I told her that I would call Glenn to ask him to work with her on the warranty. Before I could dial Glenn, Tammy had called Glenn to work out the situation. The technician had a replacement part in place on the unit within a very short time. While the new part did not resolve the issue, the technician advised me to turn on the alternative heating system until he could return on Monday. He informed me that he could better determine the source of the problem once the ice had melted around the coils. I have never before witness such swift response from a service company. Shuford Heating and Air is definitely a great representative of the Trane equipment and American Standard. I look forward to this heat pump repaired on Monday and working well for years to come.” – E.W.
